“Quin cacao”, A chocolate story. 

Meritxell Duran & Xavier Canal. From 20 – 29 March. 

Chocolate features every day from 18 – 20 hours.

Authors: Meritxell Duran works in the world of illustration, objects and sculpture. She has collaborated with companies like: La Vanguardia, l’AVUI, Nani Marquina, Aspectos de Camilla Hamm, Parcs y Jardins de L’Ajuntament de Barcelona ,etc…

Xavier Canal, confectioner, has had his own shop for 26 years and is known for his artisan work as well as his innovations and new creations that contribute in the confectionery field with works on site and other external areas.

We present 30 pieces under this title, which have been specifically created to elaborate with the various chocolate techniques. You’ll find the Easter Egg, as well as works made with moulds and griddles. 

The very diverse theme works have been drawn by Meritxell Duran under the technical guidance and development of Xavier Canal. The work was carried out in the Pastisseria Canal workshop.

In the afternoons, the chocolate workshop was organized in the same room for the public, with the unexpected intervention of a draftsman, in this case Perico Pastor. 

The exhibition installation is carried out by Anna Martínez from Verbal y Martínez.
