Alexandre Ferrer
25/11/80. (Sala 062)
From 25 November – 13 December 1980
The Àlex Ferrer exhibition consisted of six paintings and an environment, under the highly suggestive title of “Locus Amoenus”, that is to say “pleasant place”.
It was an installation with six hospital beds, each with a painting next to it. The canvases (1.40 x 1.40 m.) with a figure on his back, in different positions, facing a natural landscape, with diffuse colors, with a very simple and Hocknian style.
The installation was intended as a reflection on the healing role of painting on the human spirit.
