Faces – Ferran Adriá

Presented at the Pompidou centre in 2005, this exhibition explains the culinary innovation process conducted by Ferran Adrià and his relationship with the industrial design of Luki Huber.
Spherification, deconstruction, new caramelization, liquid nitrogen elaborations, foams, air, hot gelatines… are concepts and techniques Ferran Adrià has used and that has changed the art of cuisine. They have allowed elBulli restaurant to stay at the top of international cuisine.
The international designer, Luki Huber works in collaboration with Ferran Adrià in the selection and design of objects and utensils that help in the preparation and presentation of elBulli’s new recipes, some of which form part of the Ferran Adrià FACES line.
