Contradictorily to the title of the exhibition, this new exhibition by Ángel Jové represents for him the beginning:

“Up to now everything was learning exercises, done without haste. It’s like closing a circle to start something new.”

At the same time Jové considers that this exhibition is linked to the one held at the Sala Vinçon in 1975 entitled “Metaphysics”. And also with the installation “Philanthropy”, which he is currently presenting at the Col-legi Oficial d’Aparelladors i Arquitectes Tècnics de Barcelona.

“La fi de les coses” consists of large format paintings and objects made or transformed from structures reminiscent of a chair. Both the paintings and the objects are part of what for Ángel Jové is the world of things.
