Architecture students

The IS ARCH AWARDS is a program that honors international students of architecture. It is organised by students from the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona ETSAB-UPC.

The aim is to provide a platform for debate around the architecture solutions that students contribute within the framework of their university studies. It is also entended to link them with the professional world through professional practices.

A further objective of the IS ARCH Awards is to encourage young people to join the debate on Architecture by contributing their unique vision and opinions, because we understand that their ideas are going to shape the future of Architecture.

– Tomislav Dushanov. Associate Herzog & De Meuron.
– Reynolds Logan, AIA Associate Partner en Richard Meier & Partners.
– Francisco Mangado.

Since then, the awards are supported by internationally recognized architects that serve as our panel of judges. Some of them contribute actively by inviting participants to be part of their firms. The awards have formed a collaborative partnership to facilitate internships with Herzog & De Meuron, Zaha Hadid Architects and Francisco Mangado.
