This exhibition unites one hundred photographs taken by ten of our most respected photographers of architecture and interiorism.

They are ten image professionals and artists who have a renowned reputation: Jordi Bernadó, Lluís Casals, Ferran Freixa, Lourdes Jansana, Manolo Laguillo, Duccio Malagamba, Jaume Orpinell, Jordi Sarrà, Hisao Suzuki and Rafael Vargas.

The exhibit takes place in the Arquiset’08 activity programme, the week of architecture organized by the Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña y Arquinfad, which in this edition is dedicated to the theme of Light.

Light is the basic ingredient for photography, etymologically the word, photograph, means “to write with light”. Hence, in this exhibition, rather than only offering architectural documents, the photographers show us a special selection of images where the main feature is the magic of light which clearly and ultimately displays, a personal perspective, an authors’s vision expressed with total creative freedom.

The one hundred photographs are presented in 10 large binded books, each containing 10 pieces of work of each author.

The exhibition has been created by Silvia Farriol, commisioned by Josep Rigol and graphic design by Francis Closas.
