Animated objects for the home
Objects that animate the house, in this end of the millennium seem to register a stylistic saturation, a redundancy of plastic signs and induced formalisms, which makes it difficult to create something that does not look like something else. It is a continuous return to our mental register of images.
The design seems to suffer from “excess design”: all forms with related interpretations are succeeded and pursued in a deteriorating and infinite stylistic variation taking the end of a formal interpretation as final where the creation of forms is concerned.
We consider that the single formal plasticity of the object is not sufficient to communicate the latest advances that the object dynamics and related technologies require. DOMODYNAMIC proposes the sign of animation in the market, objects “animated for the home”, precisely.
“Donodynamic objects” are not intended as furniture or furnishing pieces or as electrical appliances but as unpublished “animated objects for the house”.
DOMODYNAMIC does not propose inanimate objects such as furniture objects neither frigid nor functional objects like electrical appliances, but live objects, a “neo-merchandise”, small domestic utopias, a production where the demand for technical benefit is transformed into recreational benefits and entertainment.
