Reminiscencias de movimientos incidentes (como, por ejemplo, el del perro que divaga)
Angel Jové
19/11/86. (Sala 082)
Fifty-seven recent works.
From November 19 to December 13, 1986.
Angel Jové is among things as they are among themselves. Self-absorbed, independent of us and our gaze, indifferent and without transcendence. Opaque and impenetrable even in their transparency and darkness.
Ángel Jové is among things as he is in himself: impenetrable, also in his singularity as a subject of knowledge. With a static will, without wanting or desiring anything, forgetful and breathless. Denial of one’s own consciousness.
We see things, always in relation to us and to the affection they exert on us. We see everything from our subjectivity, which excites and excites us and from which we can never flee. How should things be when they are not harassed by our harassing gaze? Do things exist independently of our gaze and our consideration?
