Marc Newson is one of the most influential designers of his generation, it is even said that he has overtaken his own master Starck. His almost boundless creativity takes him to an almost obsessive interest in all materialization processes of his ideas. “More than obsessive I’m a control freak. I need to control every aspect of the realization of a product”.From his base in London, Newson contemplates his first experiments with furniture, while studying sculpture and jewelry design at the School of Arts in Sydney, in the early 80’s.
