Miguel Milá. Proyecto documental
De Poldo Pomés
01/06/2015. (Sala 316)
Miguel Milá parks his motorcycle, enters Vinçon and walks through the silent corridors of the store until he reaches La Sala Vinçon, which, despite being closed to the public, is hosting one last action. Poldo Pomés and his team will film here the documentary about the designer Miguel Milá. Interviews, opinions and, above all, the pieces will fill the white space again.
Documentary project by Poldo Pomés
This documentary aims to present the character and his work, in a way as plain and simple as the protagonist himself.
Miguel Milá shows and explains his pieces, how they work, how they were conceived and discusses some of his most emblematic and well-known pieces with renowned architects, industrial designers, stylists and journalists specialized in industrial design from different generations.
“What an object needs to become a classic is a good idea and a simple execution.”
Staging:
To introduce the character and some of his best-known and emblematic works, we use the format of the relaxed conversation of different characters with the protagonist.
Most of these conversations take place inside La Sala Vinçon. A place that not only has hosted several pieces by Miguel Milá but also symbolizes a Barcelona, lover of design and good taste, which is in serious danger of extinction.
