Founded in 1886, Création Baumann is one of the centers of activity in the textile world. It is an independent family business focused on long-term objectives. They leverage their independence to create more value for their customers, partners and employees. Throughout years of growth and change, the passion for textiles has always remained.

Whether it is digital printing, adhesive textiles or specialized functions such as light control, sound attenuation and absorption, Création Baumann is among the pioneers in using technical innovations to bring the spirit of the founders into the present. The many years of research and development are paying off, such as the ‘Textil und Objekt’ innovation award for the acoustics collection and the ‘Design Preis Schweiz’ for the adhesive textiles ‘GECKO’.  Its slogan on its anniversary in 2011 aptly sums up the balance of experience and renewal: “125 years young.”

The creative expertise is also reflected in the cooperation with couture producer Jakob Schlaepfer, sophisticated and innovative collection, using metal sheets and incandescent fabrics.
